We’re always looking for reliable, engaged people to attend inspections with, or on behalf of, our clients. As demand for this service is client driven, it’s quite an ad hoc role, with most Inspectors only needing to commit to a few hours each month. As such, we believe this role is best suited to retired or semi-retired people who have an interest in property and are looking to earn a little extra income.

What the role involves:

  • Participating in briefings on key client requirements

  • Inspecting properties with clients who can attend in person

  • Conducting video walkthroughs of properties clients cannot attend

  • Gather and report on client feedback on individual properties

  • Gather and report on key inspection data

What we’re looking for:

  • Punctuality and reliability

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • An interest in property

  • A valid driver’s license and reliable private transport

  • Smart phone with the ability to make video calls

I had recently left full-time work to take a more active role caring for my mother. While I was enjoying having the extra time and freedom, I missed the sense of purpose my job had given me. So, I was looking for something that would fill a few hours each month, while still providing me the flexibility I needed for my family commitments – and given my interest in real estate, the role seemed like a good fit!
